Darioush Kaledi and his
team under the direction of Bernard La Borie are building a new 22,000 sq
ft. winery at the bottom of Silverado Trail near Signorella where
winemaker Steve Devitt perfected his winemaking skills for many years.
They've crafted a magnificent Darioush Signature Series that combines the
best of Bordeaux style blending and craftmanship with the new world
techniques and full forward fruit available from selected Napa Valley
properties. They're sparing no expense to produce the best possible
product that has been a blockbuster so far. The dedicated
staff are incredibly gracious and hospitable. This is a wine that should
be in every enthusiasts cellar for early drinking and moderate aging.
Darioush should be on every Napa itinerary. The new facility will be a
fabulous re-creation of a Persian temple - surely to be one of the most
incredible wineries in the region. Tasting notes coming soon.
