Nazii's during WWII as their Air Force HQ. I visited
Chateau La Nerthe
during the
Rhone Wine Experience. The Chateau lies adjacent to the equally
magnificent Fine Roches castle and hotel . |

touch of spice - lacking the depth and intensity expected in this wine.

July 6, 2002 - Chateau La Nerthe 1998 Chateauneuf du Pape RM 88 $35 Medium body,
anise, peppery spice opens to blackberry with a smokey earthy mineral
finish. This wine was tasted at the magnificant Chateau during our
99 Rhone Wine Experience.
