Atmosphere is intimate, warm, comfortable, with a
country and artsy feeling.

Food - Menu is limited but sufficient with basic American
cuisine - steak, duck, ahi tuna, scallops, pork chop. There is an ample selection
salads
including an excellent delicious Hudson Valley foie gras and a full plate of
tasty calimari. Prices are reasonable with entrees from $15-33.

Wine - The winelist is extensive with good coverage
from California, basic fundamental coverage from France with a basic
selection from Bordeaux, Burgundy and a few choices from the Rhone, a
respectable selection from Italy, Spain and Australia.
There are over 60 wines by the glass. There is an impressive Library Wine
list that is carefully selected
with many choices from each region with impressive vertical selections of
top and mid tier producers from California, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Italy.
There are about ten to fifteen vintages from the likes of Latour, Mouton
Rothschild, Leoville Las Cases, Pichon Lalande, Ducru Beaucaillou and Silver
Oak, Montelena, Dominus, Diamond Creek - all three vineyards and Nickel &
Nickel from four different vineyards, and a dozen others. There are five different
offerings from Robert Craig and selections from Lewis, Pride, and fifty
more. The winelist offers incredible values with Lewis Cellars Reserve
Cabernet at $71, Robert Craig Affinity at $54 as examples. The winelist is a Wine Spectator
Best of Excellence
