Arguably the most impressive chateau in Chateauneuf du Pape, their magnificent cellars were used by the Nazii's during WWII as their Air Force HQ.  I  visited Chateau La Nerthe during the Rhone Wine Experience. The Chateau lies adjacent to the equally magnificent Fine Roches castle and hotel .
