Previous ranking: 1. Result: Beat Pittsburg 37-14 for its 109th consecutive victory. Jonathan Tucker totaled 130 return yards and two interceptions and caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Matt Gutierrez. RB Kevin Simon ran for two TDs and 161 yards. Next: Friday vs. Deer Valley.

2. St. Ignatius, Cleveland (10-0)

Previous: 2. Result: Defeated Midpark (Middleburg Heights) 52-27 in the state Division I, Region 1 quarterfinals. John van der Oord scored three times and rushed for 126 yards on 19 carries. Previous: 4. Result: Beat Bowie (Austin) 42-0 to secure the District 25-5A championship. QB Duke Hasson had four completions for 97 yards and a 68-yard scoring pass to Brad Beavan. Next: Friday vs. Crockett (Austin).

5. Richmond County, Rockingham, N.C. (10-0)

Previous: 5. Result: Edged Hoke County (Raeford) 21-20 in overtime. The Raiders have outscored opponents 370-59 and have allowed 681 yards in 10 games. Next: Friday vs. East Mecklenburg (Charlotte) in the opening round of state 4A West playoffs.

6. Jenks, Okla. (10-0)

Previous: 6. Result: Beat Tahlequah 28-7. QB Scott McCoy had six completions for 172 yards and three TD passes (18, 29, 63 yards). RB Kejuan Jones rushed 16 times for 138 yards. Next: Friday vs. Edmond Memorial in first round of state 6A playoffs.

7. Cathedral Prep, Erie, Pa. (9-0)

Previous: 8. Result: Idle. Next: Thursday vs. McDowell (Erie) at Veterans Stadium in state 4A-District 10 finals.

8. St. Louis, Honolulu (12-0)

Previous: 9. Result: Crushed Kamehameha School (Honolulu) 34-0 at Aloha Stadium to win its 15th consecutive Interscholastic League of Honolulu title. RB Pesefea Fiaseu carried 27 times for 134 yards and two TDs (1 and 14 yards). QB Bobby George completed eight of 12 passes for 149 yards and two TDs. Next: Nov. 17 vs. loser of Kaimuki-Castle matchup in the state quarterfinals.

9. Lakeland, Fla. (9-0)

Previous: 10. Result: Defeated Brandon 35-9 to clinch its eighth consecutive 6A-District 8 crown. RBs Torrince Ruth (two TDs, 177 yards) and Gavin Smart (1 TD, 177 yards) sparked the offense. QB Prince Hixon had four completions for 69 yards and a score. Next: Friday at Kathleen (Lakeland).

10. West Monroe, La. (10-0)

Previous: 11. Result: Stopped Ruston 29-9 to secure its fifth consecutive District 2-5A title. FB Edward Dade's 6-yard TD run climaxed a time-consuming 17-play, 90-yard drive in the third quarter, when the Rebels led 21-9. QB Mitch Tucker threw a 41-yard TD pass to Miller McVay. Next: Friday vs. Warren Easton Fund (New Orleans) in first round of the state 5A playoffs.

11. Central, Naperville, Ill. (11-0)

Previous: 12. Result: Rallied to beat New Trier (Winnetka) 22-17 in the second round of the state 6A playoffs. QB Phil Horvath's 1-yard scoring run capped a 70-yard drive with 1:10 left to earn the victory. RB Kyle Griffith had 133 yards on 20 carries, including a 79-yard TD run. Next: Saturday vs. Naperville North in the third round of state 6A playoffs.

12. Hackensack, N.J. (8-0)

Previous: 13. Result: Overwhelmed Eastside (Paterson) 48-8 as RB Bryan Wilson had two TDs and 187 yards on 21 carries. QB Bryson Rosser was 6-for-7 passing for 153 yards, including a 47-yard scoring strike to WR Mel Sampson. Justin Stone and Jermaine Sibdhannie scored defensive TDs. Next: Saturday vs. Fair Lawn in the state Group 4, North Jersey, Section 1 quarterfinals.

13. Central Bucks West, Doylestown, Pa. (10-0)

Previous: 14. Result: Edged North Penn (Lansdale) 13-7 for its state-record 55th consecutive victory. Phil DiGiacomo flipped a 5-yard TD pass to Gavin Potter, snapping a 7-7 tie. DiGiacomo gave the Bucks a 7-0 first-quarter lead with a 27-yard run. Next: Friday vs. Upper Darby in the first round of the state 4A playoffs.

14. Katy, Texas (9-0)

Previous: 15. Result: Beat Mayde Creek (Houston) 38-3 as RB Jamel Branch (96 yards) scored on runs of 5, 7 and 5 yards. Kyle Mouton had two TDs, including a 65-yard punt return. Next: Friday vs. Taylor (Katy).

15. Red Bank, Chattanooga, Tenn. (11-0)

Previous: 16. Result: Held off Oakland (Murfreesboro) 21-14 in the opening round of the state 5A playoffs. Junior RB Gerald Riggs paced the offense with 117 yards and a 30-yard TD on 22 carries. QB Fred Holder had six completions for 109 yards and a 29-yard scoring pass to Jim Thomas for a 21-0 lead. Next: Friday vs. Ooltewah in the second round of the state 6A playoffs.

16. Lincoln, Tallahassee, Fla. (9-0)

Previous: 17. Result: Stopped Columbia (Lake City) 38-35. RB Mike Gilliam rushed for 212 yards and three scores in 21 attempts. Gilliam is the school's career rushing leader with 2,704 yards. Pat Watkins' interception with 4:04 left sealed the victory. Next: Friday vs. Rickards (Tallahassee).

17. Gadsden, Ala. (10-0)

Previous: 18. Result: Beat Emma Sansom 46-14 to complete its first undefeated season since 1991. RB Dexter Davis had three TDs, and Randy Smith returned an interception 37 yards for a score. Next: Friday vs. Mortimer Jordan (Morris) in first round of state 5A playoffs.

18. Joliet (Ill.) Catholic Academy (11-0)

Previous: 19. Result: Defeated Taylorville 49-8 in a second-round state 4A playoff game. RB J.R. Zwierzynski (11 carries, 169 yards) accounted for five TDs, including a 31-yard scoring pass to Jason Lynch. Next: Saturday vs. Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield) in the third round of state 4A playoffs.

19. Highlands, Fort Thomas, Ky. (10-1)

Previous: 20. Result: Beat Franklin County (Frankfort) 55-6 in first round of the state 3A playoffs. QB Guido Guidugli threw for 380 yards and four TDs on 15-for-24 passing . WR Brett Hamblen had three TDs, bringing his season total to 25. Next: Friday vs. Covington Catholic in the second round of the 3A playoffs.

20. Warner Robins, Ga. (9-0)

Previous: 21. Result: Blanked Westside (Macon) 16-0. RB Willie Reid ran 19 times for 110 yards and returned a punt 48 yards for a score. James Nottingham added a 1-yard TD run. Next: Friday at Northside (Warner Robins).

21. Rockhurst, Kansas City, Mo. (10-0)

Previous: 22. Result: Defeated Southeast (Kansas City) 35-14. Jason Dunsworth, Marlon Butler and Chris Cummings each scored as the Hawklets led 21-0 at the break. QB Johnny Sweeney hooked up with Adam Pummil on a 58-yard scoring play. Next: Wednesday at Liberty in first round of 5A state playoffs.

22. Montgomery Bell Academy, Nashville (10-0)

Previous: 23. Result: Idle. A loss to Bolles School (Jacksonville) became a forfeit victory because Bolles used an ineligible player. Next: Friday vs. Baylor School (Chattanooga) in Division II-AA state semifinals.

23. Creighton Prep, Omaha (10-0)

Previous: 23. Result: Defeated Millard South 55-0 before 2,500 at Omaha's Benson Stadium in the first round of the state Class A playoffs. RB Steve Hicks, who ran for 135 yards and three scores (3, 8, and 15 yards), has 1,063 yards in 10 games. The defense allowed 42 yards. Next: Played Monday night vs. Omaha Bryan in the state Class A quarterfinals.

24. Mullen, Denver (9-1)

Previous: 25. Result: Beat Overland (Aurora) 35-7 to end the regular season. Aneas Washington scored twice, on a 68-yard punt return and 48-yard pass from QB Tony Christensen (11 of 18, 144 yards). RB Jonny Ruff added two TDs. Next: Saturday vs. Regis in first round of state 5A playoffs.

25. Colerain, Cincinnati (11-0)

Previous: Not ranked. Result: Defeated Anderson (Cincinnati) 37-7 in state Division I, Region 4 quarterfinals. RB Jermaine Johnson ran for 225 yards, including a 10-yard TD. Next: Saturday vs. St. Xavier (Cincinnati) in Division 1, Region 4 semifinals.
