Previous ranking: 1. Result: Defeated Clayton Valley (Concord) 64-21 as WR Demetrius Williams (three catches, 163 yards) caught TD passes of 40 and 61 yards. RB Kevin Simon ran for two TDs and 145 yards on 12 carries, and QB Matt Gutierrez threw for 184 yards and two scores. De La Salle has won national-record 107 consecutive games.

2. St. Ignatius, Cleveland (7-0)

Previous: 2. Result: Defeated Glen Mills School (Concordville, Pa.) 40-6.

3. Poly, Long Beach, Calif. (7-0)

Previous: 3. Result: Routed Wilson (Long Beach) 48-7 behind RB Herschel Dennis' three TDs and 178 rushing yards.

4. Westlake, Austin, Texas (7-0)

Previous: 4. Result: Beat Hays Consolidated (Buda) 44-7 to win 48th consecutive District 25-5A contest in Buda. WR Judd Johnston caught scoring passes of 17 and 42 yards. RB Scott Ballew rushed for 101 yards and 19-yard TD.

5. Richmond County, Rockingham, N.C. (8-0)

Previous: 5. Result: Rallied to defeat Scotland (Laurinburg) 21-14. Trailing 14-13, Antonio Gould snared 57-yard TD pass from QB Brandon Davis (92 yards passing, two TDs) for decisive score. Adam Hodges kicked two field goals.

6. Jenks, Okla. (8-0)

Previous: 6. Result: Defeated Owasso 56-14 before 8,000 at Hunter-Dwelly Stadium in Jenks. RB Bobby Klinck ran for 85 yards and three TDs, and Kejuan Jones added three scores for Trojans, who forced five first-half turnovers.

7. Mater Dei, Santa Ana, Calif. (6-1)

Previous: 7. Result: Edged Loyola (Los Angeles) 24-21 on K Bryan New's 31-yard field goal with six seconds left before 12,000 at Glendale High. Southern California-bound QB Matt Leinart was 16-for-24 for 255 yards and TD.

8. Cathedral Prep, Erie, Pa. (8-0)

Previous: 8. Result: Defeated McDowell (Erie) 54-6 at Erie Veterans Stadium. Junior RB Jawan Walker raced for 185 yards and two TDs, and QB Ed Hinkel contributed 251 total yards and sprinted 21 yards for score.

9. St. Louis, Honolulu (10-0)

Previous: 10. Result: Beat Punahou School 55-7 at Aloha Stadium to win 14th consecutive game. Senior RB Pesefau Fiaseu had 140 yards and three TDs on eight carries to help build 34-7 halftime lead. Backup QB Bobby George threw two scoring completions to Daniel Inferra. DL Alan Ching had three sacks.

10. Lakeland, Fla. (7-0)

Previous: 11. Result: Defeated George Jenkins (Lakeland) 35-13 as RB Gavin Smart ran for 123 yards and two TDs before 4,000 at Bryant Stadium in Lakeland. RB Torrince Ruth added 120 yards rushing, and Charles Riddle had 2-yard TD run.

11. West Monroe, La. (8-0)

Previous: 12. Result: Shut out Neville (Monroe) 35-0 as Darren Smith had two sacks and Rick Guillot returned fumble 15 yards for score. QB Mitch Tucker threw scoring strikes to Adam Barfield (57 yards) and Demario Taylor (9 yards).

12. Central, Naperville, Ill. (8-0)

Previous: 13. Result: Beat Glenbard East 28-20 as DB Brian Uhlir's 34-yard interception return for score sealed victory. QB Phil Horvath (7-for-11 for 134 yards) rallied Redhawks from 14-0 deficit with 1-yard TD pass to Dan Prazak. Kyle Griffith carried 13 times for 93 yards and TD.

13. Hackensack, N.J. (6-0)

Previous: 15. Result: Crushed Nutley 49-6 as RB Kaliym Hazel scored five TDs and totaled 217 yards. Chris Duncan sparked defense with three sacks and two tackles for loss. Senior QB Bryson Rosser threw 38-yard TD pass to Bryan Wilson.

14. Central Bucks West, Doylestown, Pa. (8-0)

Previous: 16. Result: Defeated Truman (Levittown) 49-0 to tie own state record with 53 consecutive wins. James West and Bob Warden each scored two TDs, and QB Phil DiGiacomo completed six passes for 85 yards and score.

15. Katy, Texas (7-0)

Previous: 17. Result: Beat Cinco Ranch (Katy) 63-3 at Rhodes Stadium in Katy. RB Jerrold Jones rushed for 112 yards and scores of 49 and 28 yards. Jonathan Tucker added two TDs as Katy had 537 offensive yards.

16. Red Bank, Chattanooga, Tenn. (9-0)

Previous: 18. Result: Defeated Cleveland 45-24 as RB Cole Goins sped for four TDs and 112 yards. Junior RB Gerald Riggs added 157 yards, including 77-yard TD run, on 13 attempts.

17. Lincoln, Tallahassee, Fla. (7-0)

Previous: 21. Result: Crushed previously unbeaten Sandalwood 44-14 before 2,500 in Jacksonville. RB Mike Gilliam rushed for 157 yards and four TDs on 18 carries, and QB Gavin Dickey ran for 113 yards and score. Florida State-bound Craphonso Thorpe had 80-yard punt return for TD.

18. Gadsden, Ala. (8-0)

Previous: 19. Result: Beat Talladega 35-14 as RB Dexter Davis scored twice. Maurice Jackson returned kickoff 80 yards for TD, and Marcus Morgan scooped up fumble for 15-yard TD.

19. Joliet (Ill.) Catholic (9-0)

Previous: 20. Result: Defeated Carmel (Mundelein) 34-22 behind junior RB J.R. Zwierzynski's three TDs. RB Chris Gruber bolted for 120 yards and two scores on 15 attempts.

20. Highlands, Fort Thomas, Ky. (8-1)

Previous: 22. Result: Beat Holmes (Covington) 81-0 behind QB Guido Guidugli's career performance of 396 yards and eight TD passes. Bret Hamblen and Eamon Mueller each scored three times as Bluebirds had 684 yards of offense and clinched Region 3, District 5-4A title.

21. Warner Robins, Ga. (8-0)

Previous: 23. Result: Defeated Griffin 48-20.

22. Rockhurst, Kansas City, Mo. (7-0)

Previous: 24. Result: Defeated Park Hill South 35-0 as freshman RB Tony Temple rumbled for scoring runs of 62 and 67 yards. QB Geoff Brown scored on runs of 6 and 62 yards.

23. Montgomery Bell Academy, Nashville (8-1)

Previous: 25. Result: Idle.

24. Creighton Prep, Omaha (8-0)

Previous: Not ranked. Result: Defeated Omaha North 30-13. Senior QB Dan Burns threw two TD passes to junior RB Steve Hicks.

25. Mullen Prep, Denver (7-1)

Previous: 9. Result: Upset by Fairview (Boulder) 17-12. QB Tony Christensen fired 9-yard TD pass to Chandler Henley.

Dropped out: No. 14 Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, Minn.) lost to Wayzata (Plymouth) 44-36.
